Before the examination, they showed me documents related to the legality of performing ultrasounds at Korean medicine clinics. However, I was puzzled and lost trust when they immediately followed up by saying, 'Don't tell your infertility clinic that you had an ultrasound at a Korean medicine clinic.' During the consultation, they instilled fear by saying my current condition was not good and I could not go back to how I was before, and then recommended an expensive package costing over 1 million won per month. They also showed me materials that were difficult to verify, claiming they were cases of pregnancy in patients undergoing advanced IVF cycles. Initially, they said the consultation fee was 20,000 won, but then stated that if I didn't proceed with treatment, I would have to pay 30,000 won for the consultation. As an overseas Korean without health insurance, considering the value and trustworthiness I received, this cost was difficult to accept. It was also strange that although I was at the clinic for over an hour, there were 4-5 staff members, but I was the only patient. I felt that their sales tactics exploited the desperate and anxious feelings of patients. If you are considering infertility treatment, I would recommend looking for a different Korean medicine clinic that genuinely cares for its patients.
